The name of this temple is Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Hindu Temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate this temple on Wednesday. This huge Hindu temple is built on about 27 acres of land. This temple is built near Al Rahba on Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway. The work of this temple is going on since the year 2019. The government of the United Arab Emirates had donated land for this temple.
How much money was this Hindu temple built for?
About Rs 700 crore has been spent in building this Hindu temple of Abu Dhabi. This BAPS temple is the largest temple in the Bay Area. There are 3 more Hindu temples in UAE, which are in Dubai. The construction of this grand Hindu temple started in the year 2019. The work of the temple was to be completed in the year 2022. But construction was delayed due to the Corona epidemic.
PM Modi will inaugurate
PM Modi will undertake a two-day visit to the UAE from Tuesday. During this time, PM will inaugurate this temple on 14th February. This temple will be the largest temple in the Middle East. The foundation stone was laid in 2017
Marble and sandstone have been used in this temple of Abu Dhabi and have been carved by hand. Let us tell you that during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to UAE in 2015, Abu Dhabi had allotted more than 17 acres of land for the temple project on the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Highway. The temple also has seven minarets representing each emirate of the country. The foundation stone of the temple was laid by PM Modi in 2017.
