The BMW car recovered from Hemant Soren’s residence belonged to Dheeraj Sahu! ED called Congress leader for questioning

The BMW car which was recovered by ED from the Delhi residence of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. It is registered in the name of a Manesar-based company of Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu. ED sources have given this information to India TV. In this case, ED has sent summons to Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu and called him for questioning. According to the latest information, ED has called Dheeraj Sahu for questioning on February 10.

Dheeraj Sahu’s premises were raided for 10 days.

Let us tell you that in December last year, Income Tax had raided the premises of Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu in Jharkhand. Rs 351 crore in cash and unaccounted property were unearthed in the raid. 40 note counting machines were used in this raid that lasted for 10 days.

The car was gone this year

According to the information received, the car is registered in the name of a company named Bhagwan Das Holdings Limited of Gurugram. This company belongs to businessman and Congress leader Dheeraj Sahu. The BMW car was taken on 16 October 2023. This car was found by ED at the Delhi residence of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. ED had confiscated it.

Soren was arrested on 31 January

Let us tell you that recently Hemant Soren was arrested by ED after a long interrogation. The petition of former Chief Minister Hemant Soren will be heard in the Jharkhand High Court on February 12. Soren has challenged his arrest by ED in the High Court. A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Shri Chandrashekhar and Justice Rajesh Kumar has asked the central agency to file its reply on Soren’s plea by February 9. The ED had arrested Soren in a money laundering case related to the alleged land scam soon after he resigned as chief minister on January 31.
