India vs England 3rd Test : There is currently a big gap in the long Test series being played between India and England. There is a gap of about ten days between the second and third test. Which is now slowly coming to an end. Out of the two matches played so far, England won the first match, while the Indian team won the second match. That means now the series is on par. The third match is to be played in Rajkot from 15th February, for which the Indian team has already reached there. Meanwhile, what will be the playing eleven of the next match is still a mystery, but it is certain that a player may get a chance to debut in the third test.
Team India players are reaching Rajkot
Now only three days are left for the start of Rajkot Test. This is the reason that while on one hand the England team is once again reaching Rajkot directly from Abu Dhabi, on the other hand Indian players are also reaching the venue one by one. Meanwhile, the question is whether any player will get a chance to debut in the next test. Actually, the curtain will be removed only when captain Rohit Sharma will enter the field for the toss on 15th February, but it is believed that Dhruv Jurail can be given a chance to debut in the next match. KS Bharat was playing as a wicketkeeper batsman in the first two tests. He did excellent keeping, but again he could not show the kind of skills with the bat that the Indian team was expecting.
KS Bharat could not impress in the first two tests
Talking about KS Bharat’s performance in the first two Tests, Bharat scored 41 runs in the first innings of the Hyderabad Test and 28 runs came from his bat in the second. This is the same match in which the Indian team had to face defeat. After this, when the team reached Visakhapatnam, he scored 17 runs in the first innings and 6 runs in the second. That means his performance seems to be going backwards instead of going forward. In such a situation, it is possible that the team management may think of giving a chance to Dhruv Jurail.
Dhruv Jurail’s performance in first class cricket has been like this
Talking about KS Bharat’s Test performance so far, he has scored 221 runs in 12 innings of seven Test matches. His average is 20.09, while he is batting at a strike rate of 52.99. The special thing is that even after 12 innings, he has not yet managed to score a single half-century. His highest score is 44 runs. However, his performance in first-class cricket has been excellent, which is not visible in international cricket. If we talk about Dhruv Jurail, he is yet to make his international debut. He has scored 790 runs in 15 first-class matches so far. Which includes one century and 5 half-centuries. Dhruv Jurail bats at an average of 46.47 and strike rate of 56.63. It remains to be seen what final decision captain Rohit Sharma, coach Rahul Dravid and the rest of the team management take regarding this entire matter.
