Problems of Muslims are not ending in China

China News: The difficulties of Uyghur Muslims in China are not decreasing. The Chinese government has now issued rules and regulations regarding the construction of mosques. Uyghur Muslims are continuously facing troubles in China. In the latest case, an order has been issued regarding religious practices in Xinjiang. China’s government authority has issued instructions regarding the design of mosques in Xinjiang. According to this order, it is necessary to see Chinese traditions in the design of newly constructed mosques. In the Uyghur Autonomous Region of Xinjiang, it is now mandatory for newly constructed mosques to incorporate “Chinese characteristics”.

According to the government rules of China, no organization or person can force the residents to believe or not in any religion, but it is necessary to include Chinese traditions in the reconstruction of old mosques or construction of new mosques. According to this, it will be necessary to reflect Chinese characteristics in the architecture, sculptures, paintings and decorations at religious places in the new construction. Experts believe that under the new rules in Xinjiang, the government is trying to ‘Sinicize’ religion and is working towards strengthening state control over religious places. Following this public notice from the Xinjiang government last month, these rules came into effect in the Xinjiang region from Thursday. According to a report, under the old rules in China, approval has to be taken from the local government for the construction of new religious places.
